Privacy policy

This explains what TribeRise collects, why, and who can see it. Short version: we collect what the app needs to work, show it only to the people it's meant for, and never sell it.
What we collect
- Account: name, email, country, password (stored scrambled; we can't read it), profile photo, unit preference.
- What you do in tribes: the tribes you join, chat messages and photos, challenge check-ins and numbers (like steps, weights, run times), progress photos, class bookings and appointments.
- What coaches add: classes, availability, videos and programs.
- Notifications: if you turn them on, your device's push address and your time zone (for 7pm reminders), and your notification settings.
Who can see it
- Chat and tribe activity: the members of that tribe.
- Your check-in details and progress photos: you and the tribe leader. Other members see your rank, points, streak and totals on the leaderboard.
- Tribe search shows tribe and tribe leader names, never member names.
- Live video: the people in that live or class.
Services we use
We use trusted providers to run the app: Supabase (database, sign-in and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Daily (live video), and Resend (email). They process data only to provide their service to us.
Sponsors
We don't sell your personal data or give it to sponsors. Sponsors may get totals that don't identify anyone (for example, how many people finished a challenge). If a reward needs your details, we'll ask you first.
Your choices
- Change your name, photo, country and units in your profile.
- Turn push notifications, emails and reminders on or off in your profile.
- Leave any tribe or challenge at any time.
- Ask us for a copy of your data, or to delete your account and everything in it.
Age
TribeRise is for people 16 and older. If we learn that someone younger has an account, we'll delete it.
Changes
We'll update this policy as TribeRise grows and tell you in the app when something important changes.
See also our terms of use.
Questions? Ask your tribe leader to pass them on to the TribeRise team.
